It’s official. After calling the Waarderpolder in Haarlem our home for years, Pharmaoffer is expanding. We are opening a new headquarters in Amsterdam, where our marketing, tech, and product teams will now be based.
For those who have followed our journey, you know Haarlem is part of our DNA. Our CEO, Ammar Badwy, was born and raised here. Before Pharmaoffer was even a blueprint, Ammar spent years as the marketing director at our neighbor, Duchefa Farma. We aren’t leaving Haarlem behind; we will still maintain our presence there for other operations.
As we look toward the future, establishing a main base in Amsterdam became the natural next step.

Why the new scenery?
We’ve reached a stage where growth is about people. While Haarlem has been great to us, Amsterdam is a magnet for the kind of diverse, international talent we need to keep improving our platform.
By positioning our new headquarters in the capital, we’re putting ourselves in the center of a massive logistics and tech hub. We want to be right where the new talent and partnership opportunities are. Being just a short hop away from our roots in Haarlem means we don’t lose the local connection that grounded us in the first place.
Setting up the new space was a reminder of how much we’ve grown. If you’ve ever set up a new office, you know the universal truth we rediscovered this week: we accumulate way too much stuff. Between the old monitors and 10 years of history, our packing included some relics and antiques, like an old closet from a friend.
We couldn’t end a day like that on an empty stomach. We celebrated the new chapter the best way we know how with a much-deserved spread of Netherland’s finnest kibbeling and patat.
Looking Ahead

This expansion represents a shift toward a more collaborative and accessible future. Based on our current trajectory, we are in a phase of rapid evolution and we want our workspace to reflect that energy.
We’re still the same team, dedicated to making the pharmaceutical supply chain more transparent, just with a slightly different view from the office window.
