The history of our company begins in 1964 with Edwin Hänseler, who developed a thriving trade with the manufacture of pharmaceutical drugs. At the turn of the century, the company was expanded with new construction and extension on a large scale. Today, Hänseler AG has 135 employees, who are personally in contact with around 4,200 customers and manage about 600 deliveries per day. 



Quality control

Our quality management is a high priority. One sixth of all our employees, all qualified and trained experts, deals with product and process control. Our goal and promise is guaranteeing quality at all levels. This begins with the purchase of raw materials from qualified supply sources, continues through the initial inspection and manufacture control process, including the registration dossier, and ends with the monitoring of all project, stability and validation processes in connection with contract manufacturing.

The infrastructure of our laboratory is constantly optimised and supplemented with new purchases time and again. We have certain tests, e.g. microbiology, heavy metal   or pyrrolizidinealkloids which are  carried out by qualified external laboratories.

As a GMP-certified company, we demand that our suppliers adhere strictly to the pharmaceutical guidelines. Our suppliers are qualified in advance by our quality management unit. This means that we are also able to guarantee the purity and consistent quality of our products throughout the entire production process. For many active ingredients, in addition to the usual documents, we also offer you a Drug Master File (DMF) or a Certificate of Suitability (COS). We have also been in intensive contact with groups of experts and universities for many years.
